The volume consists of fourteen reviewed scientific articles by prominent law academicians, former and present judges of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania, former members of the Constitution preparation working group. The publication is based on the reports at scientific conference, which was held at the Vilnius University in May 2012.
The publication was compiled by Prof. Dr. (HP) Egidijus Kūris and Dr. Elena Masnevaitė. The volume was published by Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries and the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University.
The book is dedicated to scholars of law and whoever interested in the history of Lithuanian State and legislature.
On October 25, 2012, the 20th anniversary of referendum which passed the modern Lithuanian Constitution was commemorated.
