President of Lithuanian Chamber attends Notary Congress in France

Notaries, representatives of justice system as well as more than 50 guests from foreign notariats took part at the Congress. There are 5500 notarial offices in France, with approximately 52 thousand employees.

"I was impressed by sharp and relevant, but still diplomatic and constructive discussion between representatives of French notariat and Ministry of Justice. We witnessed such discussion aimed at further notarial reforms and benefit of notaries' clients", Mr. Stračkaitis said.

During the Congress Didier Coiffard, the President of Frencch High Council of Notariat, sharply debated the controversies of previous and upcoming notarial reforms with the Minister of Justice of France Nicole Belloubet. The Minister, in her turn, explained the need for reforms and praised constructive relations with notariat.
