After implementing a series of reforms and being invited to join the International Union of Notaries (UINL), notaries of Kazakhstan appreciated the merits of the President of the Chamber of Notaries of Lithuania, Marius Stračkaitis.
At the international notary event held in Nur Sultan at the end of June, Asel Zhanabilova, the chairperson of the Republican Chamber of Notaries of Kazakhstan, awarded Mr. Stračkaitis with the medal "For Contribution to Notary Industry".
For more than a decade, the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries has been providing methodological support to the reforms of the notary in Kazakhstan, implementing the principles of the Latin notary.
M. Stračkaitis visited Kazakhstan several times, giving presentations, participating in remote conferences, Kazakh notaries participated in seminars and conferences in Lithuania as well. As a result of the reforms, the Republican Chamber of Notaries of Kazakhstan was invited to join UINL, which unites more than 90 countries. The formalities of Kazakhstan joining the UINL will be completed at the international congress of notaries in Cancun (Mexico) this December.
