Notaries increase the minimum amount of Compulsory professional Indemnity Insurance

"The Law on Notariat provides that the minimum amount of compulsory professional indemnity insurance is 29.000 euros for each insured event for each notary. We have negotiated with insurance company that this amount is being increased nearly twice, up to 50.000 euros", the President of Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries Marius Stračkaitis said.

The new contract regarding compulsory professional indemnity insurance of notaries was signed between Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries and the insurance company "AIG Europe Limited" and its broker "Balto Link".
