Minister of Justice of Moldova visits Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries

Minister of Justice of Moldova Veronica Mihailov-Moraru, visiting the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries in Vilnius on June 17, was introduced to the digital projects implemented by Lithuanian notariat.

Daiva Lukaševičiūtė-Binkulienė, Vice President of the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries, Notary of Vilnius 2nd Notary Office, and lawyers and staff of the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries introduced the Moldovan Minister and the accompanying delegation to eNotary electronic system, remote notarial actions, smart solutions ensuring reliable identification of the identity of notary's clients.

The members of the Moldovan delegation were also interested in the procedure of appointment of notaries in Lithuania, the principles of notary service fees.

On 12 June, at the session of the General Assembly of the Council of Notaries of the European Union (CNUE) held in Vilnius, the Notariats of Moldova, together with the Notarial Organisations of Albania and Georgia, were granted the status of observers of the CNUE.
