Lithuanian notary attends a seminar, delivers a lecture in Kazakhstan

M.Stračkaitis introduced the system of notaries' training and its legal basis, the benefits of the system and its problems, practical issues linked to improvement of notaries' qualification.

The notariate of Kazakhstan aims towards joining the International Union of Notaries (UINL), which now includes 86 members throughout the world. Lithuanian notaries attend anual conferences held in Kazakhstan, sharing their experience in notarial reforms, Civil Law and strengthening of notarial functions.

The seminar in Almaty was also attended by representatives from Russian Federation, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.
