Pledging further support to notarial reforms in Kyrgyzstan, Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries signed co-operation document with Kyrgyz colleagues.
On December 3, 2021, during the online session between Vilnius and Bishkek, the President of the Chamber of Notaries Marius Stračkaitis and the Vice-President of the Kyrgyz Chamber of Notaries Aida Tashtandiyeva remotely signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries and the Kyrgyz Chamber of Notaries.
The document envisages methodological support of the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries to Kyrgyz notariate which undergoes improtant reforms.
The Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries has been cooperating with Kyrgyz notaries for several years, and delegations led by M. Stračkaitis visited Bishkek twice.
In 2020, the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries signed a cooperation agreement with the Chamber of Notaries of another Central Asian state - Uzbekistan - and provides methodological consultations on Latin notariate and other legal issues.
