German and Spanish notaries introduce the international EUdoc project in Vilnius

A delegation of the German and Spanish notaries visited the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries on Friday, January 28.

The guests presented an innovation - the electronic project EUdoc. The system, already used by German and Spanish notaries, ensures the secure exchange of documents between notaries in one or more countries.

Spanish and German notaries were interested in the remote notarial acts legalized in Lithuania since July 2021, the operation and possibilities of the electronic system eNotaras developed by the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries.

During the meeting Jens Bormann, President of the German Federal Chamber of Notaries, Richard Bock, Honorary Notary of Germany and President of the Commission on International Notarial Co-operation of the International Union of Notaries, and Marius Stračkaitis, President of the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries, discussed international notarial issues.
