German and Lithuanian notaries share experience with colleagues from Belarus

Chamber of Notaries of Belarus held an international seminar in Minsk on August 29-30, with an aim to take over the experience of notarial reforms from German and Lithuanian colleagues.

Notaries of Belarus aspire for the membership at an International Union of Notaries (UINL), which unites Latin-type notariats from arround the world.

The Vice President of German Federal Chamber of Notaries Richard Bock and the President of Chamber of Notaries of Belarus Natalia Borisenko signed the bilateral co-operation agreement which envisions German notariat's assistance to notarial reforms in Belarus following the principles of Latin notariat.

The President of Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries, member of the UINL's Internation Commission on Co-operation of Notaries Marius Stračkaitis delivered the presentation dedicated to the role of Lithuanian notaries preventing legalizing of illegally acquired property.
