2022.03.22

The Chamber of Notaries of Ukraine, which unites nearly 7,000 notaries, was granted with the status of an observing member of the Council of Notaries of the European Union (CNUE).

Such a decision, initiated by Lithuania, was approved on March 18 by the General Assembly of the Council of Notaries of the European Union (CNUE) in Brussels.

Most of the issues discussed at the meeting concerned assistance to Ukraine, which is experiencing Russian aggression.

The Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries is collecting financial support, which will be transferred directly to the charity foundation established by the Chamber of Notaries of Ukraine.

The CNUE unites the notaries of the 22 member states of the European Union and represents the interests of approximately 45,000 European notaries.
