Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts presents award to the President of Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries

On April 7, at the annual awards ceremony of the Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts in Vilnius, the President of the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries Marius Stračkaitis received the Silver Star of Labor of 2021 award.

M. Stračkaitis was awarded for ensuring notarial actions for business during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as for initiatives to simplify the provision of notarial actions and develop remote services.

The participants of the ceremony were greeted by the Speaker of the Seimas Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, the Minister of the Environment Simonas Gentvilas, the Minister of Transportation and Communications Marius Skuodis, the Minister of Justice Evelina Dobrovolska.

"Public opinion polls say that the public trusts notaries the most among all legal professions, and the business community trusts notaries even more. Apparently that’s why I’m here, with that medal. It is very important for us to be noticed and rewarded in business, and I thank you sincerely for that", Marius Stračkaitis said, addressing to the participants of the event of the Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts.
