On February 5, 2009, the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries signed a co-operation agreement with the Faculty of Law of Vytautas Magnus University, based in Kaunas.

On January 28, 2003, at the Lithuanian University of Law, the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries signed a co-operation agreement with the Faculty of Law of the Lithuanian University of Law. 

On January 4, 2001, the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries signed a co-operation agreement with the Faculty of Law of the Vilnius University of the Republic of Lithuania. 

On June 15, 1996, a co-operation and friendship agreement was signed in Yurmala, Republic of Latvia, between the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries, the College of Sworn Notaries of the Republic of Latvia and the Chamber of Notaries of the Republic of Estonia. 

On March 23, 1996, in Lodz, Republic of Poland, the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries signed a co-operation and friendship agreement with Polish Chamber of Notaries of Lodz. 

German International Fund of Legal Co-operation together with the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries and German Chamber of Notaries of Koblenz held the first Lithuanian – German colloquium “Preventive law enforcement” in Vilnius on May 6-8, 1996. The second colloquium was held on June 15-16, 1998, the third one – on May 8-9, 2000 and the fourth colloquium was held on May 21-22, 2001. 

The Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries were among the first notary chambers of the Baltic countries admitted to the International Union of Notaries (UINL) at the General Assembly of 11 February 1994 in Vienna. 

Following the membership of the Republic of Lithuania into the European Union on 1 May 2004, the notariat of Lithuania was admitted to the Council of the Notariats of the European Union (CNUE) at the General Assembly of the CNUE in Athens on 13-15 May 2004.
