Lithuanian notaries elect leadership for the new term of office

Members of Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries re-elected Marius Stračkaitis, notary of Klaipėda, for the next four-year term as President of the Chamber.
Elections took place on September 19, 2020, in Vilnius during the Assembly, which has been delayed since early spring due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Notary of Vilnius, Mrs.. Daiva Lukaševičiūtė-Binkulienė was also re-elected for the next term as Vice-President of the Chamber.
Both officials have been re-elected by a landslide, each receiving more than 200 votes during the secret ballot.
There are 238 notaries in Lithuania.
Marius Stračkaitis at his speech reinterated that impelementation of remote notarial electronic services project, as well as improving professional training and strengthening of notarial profession remain his primary objectives during the next term.
Members of the Presidium (the Board) as well of the Court of Honor were re-eleted as well during the Assembly.
